Wednesday we went to Warner Robins to Kay Jewelry's. One of my bracelets broke and I had it repaired and it was ready to pick up. The manager said she had just received papers on a sale, so she showed us the sale items. We were good and didn't by anything. I saw a couple of things in the cases I liked, but I'll wait until we get back to Iowa.
After we left Kay's we went to Macon. Most of you know I like to read. I was getting low on books so I wanted to go to a book store before we went to Pennsylvania. There aren't any book stores close to were Travis lives. I told Vern I wanted at least an hour to look for books, so he should look for something to do. He found a golf course and a Verizon store close by. Vern dropped me off at Barnes & Noble and he went to find the golf course driving range. I was looking at books and having so much fun and then Vern was there. I looked at my watch and it had only been about 40 minutes. The golf course was private, so he couldn't play and the Verizon store didn't have what he wanted. I told him to find a comfy chair and sit till I was done, they were all occupied. Then he was going to the cafe and have a coffee, the tables were full. I decided I had enough books. The RV Park has a book exchange, you take a book and leave a book. A lot of those books I have read, but I did find a few I hadn't.
We had a lot of rain earlier in the week, so on the drive we noticed the trees are starting to bud out and a few had new leaves. There were a few trees that already had flowers. The grass here was green all winter, but the rain has made it brighter. SPRING, it can't get here soon enough. We got back early enough so I still had time for a short nap. We had lunch at Chili's, so we weren't real hungry, so we had what I call "what ever you can find" for supper.
