EXTENSION CORD

We went for a ride, so Vern could show me something he had seen on a bike ride. It was a really long extension cord. You're probably thinking, big deal an extension cord. Well, this extension cord went across the front yard of a house, then across the road and up a power poll and attached to a black cable. Back to the extension cord in the yard, it was attached to a black cable that ran to the house. Vern thought the extension cord was attached to a cable TV line. I guess they didn't want the expense of running the cable underground. Vern said he had seen a couple of other houses the same way. We never know what we're going to see here.



Vern went for a bike ride today and saw a produce field that had been covered in sheets of plastic, so we went for another ride, so I could see it. The field was huge and part of the field was all ready planted with something. We hope it comes up before we leave so we can see what it is.



We saw another field with huge heads of cabbage, acres and acres of cabbage. Most of it was green, but there was some purple cabbage. You never know, you could be getting Georgia cabbage.
