Sunday was our granddaughter Allie's (9) dance recital at CY Stephens in Ames. Allie has danced since she was 3 or 4. She started with ballet and then added in tap and jazz. This year she added Irish Dance. She took a summer session last year and started Irish dance classes last fall. I was so exited to see her dance. The recital started at 1:00, so we were there at about 12:30 to get good sets.
Allie's first dance was the ballet in her pink tutu with but ruffles. Sooo cute. Her next dance was the soft shoe Irish Dance. The girls wore white dresses with a teal ribbon and lots of long curls. She was so cute and very, very good. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Allie. Last she did the hard shoe Irish Dance. For someone who has only been taking lessons for 8 months, she was absolutely awesome. I just loved watching her, but the dance wasn't long enough. Allie told me usually you have to take Irish dance for a year before you can do hard she dance. Allie you were fantastic and we are so proud of you. Love you.
